Thanks to social media, I’ve kept in touch with friends from high school. I went to high school in the Poconos of Pennsylvania. Our graduating class was huge and some of the best people I’ve known come from that chapter in my life. High school was FUN {not the kind of FUN I want to repeat but it was very good times} and feels so very long ago. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to document weddings of a few high school friends. I’ve traveled to Trinidad, Mexico, Utah and it looks like this year I’ll be heading to Texas to document another classmates wedding.
This post is all about Theresa and her forever love Eddie. They’ve been together since I’ve known Theresa. I hadn’t seen Theresa since high school yet seeing her an unmentionable amount of years later, it was like yesterday. She’s a lawyer now and not a chick you want to mess with but a heart of gold like you wouldn’t believe.
She wrote to me after the wedding and said : “I just wanted to say thank you for everything – you were amazing – and we were both very happy with the way the day went – as eddie says – you let the wedding be the wedding – and we really appreciate that…”
They were married at a gorgeous church and then celebrated very elegantly and with A LOT of food at Coindre Hall in Huntington, New York. This 80,000 square foot mansion in the style of a medieval French chateau with sprawling grounds served as a perfect backdrop for their day.
This was my first ever visit to Long Island, New York. I’d say Long Island knows how to have a good time.

I’m so glad our paths crossed again for this hilariously good time and beautiful celebration in your life Theresa and Eddie. Thank you for taking such good care of me and I hope to see you sooner than later.
