My very first Nantucket wedding . . .
Thanks to Brea McDonald, I traveled out to Nantucket to photograph the wedding of Tharon and Patrick. Not only did she refer me this wedding but she was there photographing another wedding so she actually walked me from the ferry to my hotel and showed me around. It was a really wonderful welcome to this new place and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
The bride got ready at her Mom’s gorgeous home while the groom got ready at the venue on Shawkemo Road. The second photographer, Gage was with the guys so we were both able to capture the moments when the bride and groom opened their gifts to each other. Before heading to the ceremony, the ladies and I made a stop on Main Street. So glad we did because an epic photo with a Great Dane that matched the bridesmaids dresses happened. Tharon rode to the ceremony along side her grandfather in a classic red convertible. Their ceremony was heartfelt, emotional and there was even a drone! An even bigger surprise came right after they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
