Stating the obvious, I really like photographing weddings and it’s a treat to photograph a wedding that is only a half of a mile from my home.
I attend a lot of shows at the State Theatre each year – I call it my church. It’s where I go to see some of my favorite musicians do what they love. The energy of the crowd, the fact that a huge group of people actually stop being so busy and just enjoy something together is just magic to me. So, to bring two things I love together so close to home was incredible.
This State Theatre Maine wedding almost intimidates me in finding the words to describe so I’m going to let the photographs do the talking. I will tell you that there was a first look at the theatre, a mock photo booth at the marquee with improv queues, photographs and medals that the bride and groom have earned, delicious lobster rolls, great entertainment and some familiar faces. Bravo! Well done, everyone, well done!
