One of my most favorite things to do is to explore.
Between weddings and events, I love to take the time to recharge. Experiencing a new place or a new area really helps inspire the work that I do.
This week, I finally made it to a destination my parents have been recommending me to see. Bulldog Camp which is found ten miles in off Rt. 201 in the area of Jackman, Maine. You travel in on a logging road and as you get closer the road narrows and has you thinking, “how in the world does anyone survive this in the winter?” There a few camps out that way but you’re truly in the middle of nowhere. It’s quite the trip out yet when you arrive, it is absolutely worth it.
Bulldog camp is situated on the northern end of Enchanted Pond.
There is absolutely no way there is cell service. No phones, no emails, just living the way life should be! Absolutely gorgeous! I’m planning a trip out in August {when the bugs are gone} and I’m hoping to make this an annual trip with a group of friends and family. It’s just a matter of carving out the time to do it so I’m hoping we’re all able to make it happen.
I also feel it is an amazing place to get married. 🙂
Go explore!
