A Pasadena story . . .

I had the pleasure of spending Saturday, March 14th with the Saenger Family in Pasadena, California.  I photographed Stephanie and Brian’s Santa Barbara wedding in 2005 and  last year received really exciting news that they welcomed a new little man into their lives.  It was wonderful to see Brian and Stephanie again and to meet Mr. Cole.  When I arrived he was taking a little siesta so to his surprise when he woke up, there was a new lady in his house.

Meet Mr. baby Cole : he’s 10 months old.

At first glance, I just melted by his big brown eyes and long eyelashes.  Such a doll!  He was very curious about me and probably wondered what exactly I was all about.  We had a few staring contests and then while his Mom dressed him, I discovered his adorable shoes.

After a few minutes, he woke up a bit more and seemed to feel comfortable with what was going on around him and began to clap.

Then it was time to fill his belly and have a little lunch before his big day in front of the camera.  It’s hard work being this cute so a good meal was in store.

Right after lunch, Dad scooped him up and it was time to smile!

Meet Cookie.  She’s a rescue which immediately makes me fall in love with Steff and Brian even more . . .

We headed out to the park in their neighborhood and made a pit stop on a beautiful street.  Brian tells me that this street was used for the movie, Back to the Future.  Pretty sweet!  Totally reminds me of New England.

I had a wonderful time photographing the Saenger Family!  They treated me to a homemade dinner afterwards which was SO BEYOND DELICIOUS!  Salad, Lasagna, Brownies and ridiculously good Kona coffee.  Thank you SO MUCH Stephanie and Brian for your loyality, hospitality, generosity and for all the laughs.  I can’t forget to mention Brian’s humor!  OMG!  This man is FUNNY!  I hope you enjoy these photograhs as much as I enjoyed spending time in your world.  I wish you tons of love, success and joy!
