I’m honored to be featured on Ophelia’s Webb : All You Need Series! Love Is Clicking The Shutter Little story about paths crossing and how clicking away through social networking can allow you to land on some pretty incredible people. . .I recently began working with Lael Couper Jepson of She Changes who is AMAZING...
Wow what a pingback to wake up to on Sunday morning! (For those not geeky like me, pingbacks are when someone links to your website from theirs)
Melissa, first of all I just want to clarify for anyone reading this that though our friendship means SO much to me, I chose your photography to be featured as the photo-essay in my series based purely on the merit of your work, the passion you feel for photography and the tiny moments of love and happiness you manage to capture on film. I am in awe of your work.
That being said, YES TO THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA! I was so humbled to receive your first email reaching out to me. And yes, as it says in my Contact section, I love meeting new people. 🙂 So it just seemed natural to meet a fellow creative mind for a cup of tea before a session (coincidentally with Lael!) What I assumed to be an hour long chat quickly manifested into almost 2.5 hours and now you couldn’t shake me if you tried. Exactly as you stated, it felt like talking with one of my oldest friends.
I am SO blessed and happy that fate dropped you into my life…I feel like it is a beautiful start to the 2010 Year of Love. To find a friendship FROM the idea of the Year of Love that is epic.
🙂 It IS EPIC!! 🙂
