A 15-minute ferry ride from Cousins Island takes you to Chebeague Island. As you arrive, you are greeted by the 1920’s restored, Greek-Revival-Style, Chebeague Island Inn.
I photographed a wedding out there and the couple chose to have their 4:30pm Jewish ceremony on the Inn’s backyard which is perched on a hilltop overlooking the Casco Bay.
Their cocktail hour took place on the Inn’s wraparound porch and they celebrated with friends and family under a tent on the Inn’s lawn. The Inn is a really wonderful summer destination wedding location in Maine.
