Drakes Island Beach in Wells, Maine is where Jeff proposed to beautiful Caroline at sunrise. Their story of that morning and the day leading up to it, cracked me up. She had no idea. It was the weekend of their third anniversary and they were visiting Maine to celebrate. Jeff had given her a pair of earrings to throw her off the day before. He asked her if she wanted to get up early and watch the sunrise over at Drakes. She thought that was a nice gesture yet she had no idea. He said he was stumbling over his words once he got down to the beach and she said she basically threw herself on the ground when she realized what he was doing. They were set up by seventy year old lunch ladies who had an agenda of their own. Little did they know, these two were just meant to be.
I put out a preview the morning after their session and Caroline made a comment on Facebook that I wanted to share.
I know without a doubt, your wedding is going to be a beautiful celebration of love. I cannot wait to see it all come together.

Hi Melissa, We are so pleased to have you as the photographer for Jeff and Caroline’s upcoming wedding. I know we had met before and felt instantly comfortable with your personality and how kind yet professional and detailed you are. Great suggestions on the barn as a back up. I may want to touch base with you for more suggestions.
Treasured memories that will last a life time!
Thanks again,
Paul and Joan Bitters
