Fall family portraits keep me very busy. Visiting families in their homes to capture their daily routines is a very special part of my work. I love capturing a sleeping baby in a quiet room while everyone in the house tiptoes around in order not to wake the newest addition. I love using the furniture and natural light of the house to tell their story. I think about the baby looking at these photographs 5 to 10 years in the future and having a great idea of what their lives were like and how much love surrounded them.
I traveled to Andover, Massachusetts to capture this beautiful family in their home and had playtime outside too.
Although it is hard to carve time into our lives to schedule a family portrait session and it’s so easy to put off, it’s so important to have these memories captured for your kids.
