There’s nothing better than photographing an old friend’s wedding…
I’ve known Bill, the groom, since junior high and high school. He emailed me about photographing his wedding to Jill down in Houston, Texas, and mentioned that he was a fan of my work. Of course, I had to go! Houston was something else. I felt so welcomed by Bill and Jill’s families, and I had a blast at their wedding. It was so nice to see Bill again after all these years and to share in such a special weekend in his life.
I not only got to photograph their wedding ceremony, but also their rehearsal dinner. It was such an intimate event, I was happy to be a part of it.
The bride and groom both prepared for their big day at The Heights Villa. All of their friends and family joined them later on at All Saints Catholic Church for a nice afternoon ceremony.
The church was absolutely breathtaking. The artwork on the walls and ceiling were so beautiful, it framed their ceremony perfectly.
The reception took place back at The Heights Villa. Their room had stunning draped ceilings that added to the classic elegance of their celebration. They had a wedding cake and a groom’s cake for Bill, one decorated with flowers, and the other decorated with the New York Yankees emblem. I wonder which one was the grooms?
Here’s a picture of me, Bill, and our old friend Robert.
