My Momma Mullen worked for many years at M&M Mars Inc. She has met some of the bestest friends of her life there and many of them have become family to me. She retired in 2006 yet just couldn’t all the way let go and continued consulting even when her and my Dad moved to Maine. She commuted to New Jersey and worked on a national project with a team of great people. The teams leader, Pat and my Mom bonded and shared stories about their only daughters and soon enough I’d be thanking the M&M world for connecting us all together.
Pat’s daughter, Katie, had big interests in this guy named Mike and before I knew it I was getting news that the two were engaged. It all worked out nicely that by the time these two were planning their big day, I had relocated to the East Coast and was available for their wedding day. Katie and Mike were married in Ridgewood, New Jersey on August 1, 2009. To view their wedding day slideshow, click here!
