In the month of February, I had a chance to spend quality time with my Mom who is also known as Momma Mullen. That nickname came about a few years ago by a good friend and it turns out that my Mom actually called her Mom, Momma. I didn’t know that until recently as my grandmother passed away before I was born so it was an ironic way to learn a little about our family history.
We traveled, visiting with family and best friends. She let me drive her the entire 600 miles and we had a blast. I’m very fortunate to have a person in my life that believes in me no matter what and to have that person be a parent is pretty darn inspiring. She has a way of lifting me up even when I don’t think I can go any further. She has always believed in me even when I can’t see two feet ahead. She is the kindest, most loving person, I’ve ever known. I’m so lucky that she’s my Mom to teach me the ways of the world. I took this picture of her in Greenville, Maine at a Chocolate Festival on Valentine’s Day. It’s just a tiny moment of many we shared this month.
Love you, Momma Mullen x’s a billion. xoxo . . .
