I volunteered dog photography at AWS {the Animal Welfare Society} in Kennebunk, Maine to help the adoption process with my good friend, Nicki Fenderson of the Pixel Chicks again yesterday. We spent about an hour hanging with four really cool dogs. There were tears shed yesterday big time. At one point, I warned Nicki, “Don’t look this one in the eye!!” because she’ll just melt your heart. I’m feeling confident these dogs are SO good that they won’t be at the shelter for long at all.
Readers, it would mean so much to me if you would please share this post on your Facebook pages or Twitter feeds or email or anywhere to help these wonderful dogs find their forever homes. Thank you so much!

A reminder about a few dogs who have been at the shelter a little longer then my heart can handle.
“The Animal Welfare Society helps to promote the adoption of our Long Term Residents by reducing their adoption fee to $99.00. These adult dogs (one year and older) have been at the shelter longer than three weeks and are ready move on out of here and begin a new adventure with you!”
All post production done by the Pixel Chicks.
