Pug life in Coastal Maine

An iPhone picture on a professional photography blog can or can not be a good idea.  Regardless, I’m breaking what may be some unwritten rule because there was a moment yesterday morning that had to be captured and if I ran for my camera, it would have been gone.  It’s nothing amazing or award winning, I’m well aware.  It’s just my little man hanging out by himself.

I finished getting ready, came into my bedroom and found him like this.  Content, cozy and adorably posing.  He curiously watched me as I fumbled with my phone, triggering the CameraBag App hoping he wasn’t going to notice that I was trying to keep the moment still.

I love how animals, especially this one, is a constant reminder of the really important things in life and how moments like this can stop you dead in your tracks, shift your thinking, mood and/or perception.

I originally posted this on Wednesday, December 22.  This morning, I read a blog post from one of my clients The Universe According to Anastasia who also posted about her dog yesterday, To My Animal Lovers.  I read it this morning and watched the video she posted of Jimmy Stewart reading a poem about his dog Beau on The Johnny Carson Show.  I had to add this to my post as well.  It’s very sweet and hits the feeling I was talking about on the nose.
