2010. November. Thanksgiving. Wow! It’s here, gone and onto December we go. There are countless blog entries I could make about being thankful which is a lovely thing to type and more importantly feel. I was able to take a few days off up in the North Woods of Maine with my amazing parents. They fed me till I was stuffed, played games with me and even let me win, let me sleep soundly and created a space where there were no worries. I’m back to the studio this week refreshed and after having quiet time to reflect, I just wanna say, “SHIT HOWDY WHAT A YEAR!” I mean, many miles were traveled, many lovely moments captured and I’ve learned so much about love, relationships, time, structure, friendship, myself that I’m so excited to enter winter to soak this all up and let it all marinate.
There are many blog posts to come. I need a minute to catch up here with a tad more editing, holiday orders and then I expect to feature the goodness that this year brought to my world. For now, I leave you with one powerful moment from a ceremony in Trinidad which wins the furthest destination I traveled to this year.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
