A Mullen Adventure

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with . . . Mr. and Mrs. Mullen, my parents.  They came for a visit mainly to pick Mr. Leo up as I’m traveling to NYC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Boston this weekend for a whirlwind engagement session weekend.  We decided that since they are here we should do something fun.  Our Mullen Adventure included a trip to Wells, Maine where Dad and I indulged in fresh haddock and Mom ate chicken, visited the beach in Wells and then headed north to Two Lights State Park in Cape Elizabeth.  Ok, so first, I have one place on earth that makes me feel like I’m in heaven and that’s Big Sur, California.  Well, yesterday I met Big Sur’s little sister . . .

Just 15 minutes south of my home and office sits Two Lights State Park and what a place this is. We were the only people there which I’m sure is not the case during the summer season and we had the most beautiful weather. It was a perfect day and I feel very blessed to have the freedom to take a break and spend time with Mr. and Mrs. Mullen.
