Introducing Multimedia Storytelling by Melissa Mullen Photography and Willa Kammerer. We have come together to create a personalized, timeless memory that your family is sure to treasure.
We’re very excited to share what we have created for our clients. We hope you watch, an afternoon with the Jepson Family at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine.

Feedback from the family:
“Our jaws literally ache from having dropped so many times as we’ve watched it. It’s magical – Graecen blowing the dandelion (serious…could that be more amazing!?). Todd and I talking about merging or Coup talking about being the only one in the family who has the experience of being the eldest in a family… it’s all priceless.”
My vision was to bring my family sessions to life and allow the subjects to have a voice. Enter Willa. She uses her talents to capture the words and sounds of your life, much like I with photographs. When the two are blended together, the result is invaluable.
Willa showed me what she created with my photographs, I cried. In fact, I tear up every time when I watch this video. It’s the combination of the boys voices, how they are so kind to each other, Todd and Lael’s love and her comment to Todd “Let it out. There is so much room on the outside.”
So many beautiful, real moments in this 6 minute video. We would love the opportunity to create something like this for your family.
The sky’s the limit! Here are some potential life moments that Willa and I think would be wonderful to document. . . birthday celebrations, an afternoon with your loved ones {especially grandparents}, a lazy day at home, spending time at the beach, apple picking, choosing your Christmas tree, a proposal, engagement: session, family reunions, 1st day of school.
Through Willa’s eyes:
So how does it work? Our first multimedia family storytelling session was a sunny summer afternoon spent with the Jepson Family – Lael, Todd, and their two sons Couper (8) and Graceon (3) – at Pineland Farms, a place where Todd had worked for many years. We captured the family running, skipping, laughing, playing, and reflecting on what makes their family special and what they will remember about this chapter of their family history. Melissa photographed the family and the scene, while I gathered ambient sound recordings and on-location interviews with Lael, Todd, and the two boys.
Back in the editing studio, I wove together the photographs, voices, and ambient sounds into a six-minute multimedia story, which I like to think of as a dynamic “snapshot” of the Jepson’s afternoon at the farm and who they are, as a family, at this particular moment in time.
Here are some of my favorite photographs from the Jepson Family Session
We’re here to design and create your “chapter” in life. Contact the studio to talk about your very own personalized multimedia storytelling session.
