Stephanie and Nick chose a special place to have their engagement portrait in Maine. I took a little drive out to the Big White Farmhouse in North Waterboro to meet up with them for the first time. Stunners these two. I love that they chose a backdrop that has history to their families. Using the fields and different structors at the farm were an awesome backdrop and it was fun getting to know the two of them together.
The Big White Farmhouse Story
“Atop a winding hill in the countryside of Maine, there is a big white farmhouse that has been in our family for over 100 years. For 70 of those years, a sweet woman named Helen called that farmhouse home.
Helen was an exceptional person. Truly, if you knew her, you just loved her! She was a wife and mother, a teacher, a shop-owner, a friend to all…and our great-grandmother. Growing up, we all looked forward to time spent at ‘Grammie’s Farm.’ We can still picture her waiting for us on her front porch, waving as we pulled in the drive.”
They were recently married too so I’ll be sharing their beautiful wedding day here soon!
