Migis Lodge on Sebago Lake is a magical place…
Kathryn and Chris’s wedding was my last wedding of the season, and it was a special one! This venue, as I said before, is my happy place. It was such a serene place for a wedding. With the fall colored leaves and the beautiful lighting, it’s no wonder they chose this place for their happy day.
The bride and groom both got ready in separate cottages at the Migis Lodge. Kathryn had her whole bridal party with her (including her cute dog), who helped her slip into her gorgeous dress. Meanwhile, Chris and his groomsmen shared drinks and stories, waiting for his first glance of Kathryn.
Before the ceremony, Kathryn and Chris met each other at one of their favorite nooks on the property: Moosepoint. It was so romantic that Kathryn’s sister and I pretty much freaked out over how amazing this moment was to capture!
For the ceremony, the bride and her father rode in on a boat. It was such an original entrance utilizing the lake backdrop perfectly.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom went on a chilly cruise, sipped champagne, and took a few moments to take it all in.
The cocktail hour and reception were both very intimate gatherings held at the Lodge. There was plenty of dancing, and everyone looked like they were having a great time.
