This was my first time meeting the Bessen family. They were all together with their parents in Harpswell, Maine, and it was a stunning setting–perfect for their family portrait.
I captured the family playing and swinging with their newest addition, a beautiful baby boy, who also posed for some adorable solo shots while exploring the yard.
With the soft light and the warm colors of their clothing, I found these shots to be absolutely dreamy.
We climbed down the cliff in front of their house and got some amazing photographs with the cascading cliffside as a backdrop.
Because the tide was low, we spent some time by the rocky shoreline, where I captured all the different couples, siblings, and children with their parents.
The Bessen family was so accommodating and welcoming. They really made our time together wonderful.
