This promotional shoot was deliciously awesome …
I met Jane, co-owner of a food truck called The Caravan, recently and we immediately clicked. So much so that I offered to do the promotional shoot for their new business, which is geared towards wedding and event catering.
We wanted to show their food truck, as well as what they can do with decor and food presentation. For the set design, Meagan Gilpatrick of Maine Seasons Events took the lead.
The location Megean chose was perfect – Stover’s Point Preserve in Harpswell, Maine. The unique backdrop of the Cribstone Bridge was absolutely gorgeous for the shoot. It really encompassed the beauty of Maine and kept with the theme of seafood, which The Caravan specializes in.
The Caravan graciously provided this write up about their company:
“The Caravan is a 1963 Airstream trailer which serves up oysters and raw bars at all sorts of events. The Caravan is run by Jane and Dana Swenson who returned to Maine after living in Europe and Asia for 8 years in search of a new career; something that fulfilled our love of food/drinks/celebrating but also something that was connected to Maine’s growing aquaculture scene.”
“It took a while for us to fully form our vision for The Caravan but we were visiting family in Pennsylvania when we found our beloved Airstream and the rest was history. Renovations on The Caravan took a few months but we did everything in our power to maintain the original form and beauty of our Airstream. We are now fully set up to cater parties of any size anywhere in the northeast.”
“In addition to bringing delicious Maine seafood we also have a liquor license so we can cater anything from a cocktail hour at a wedding to a full party, family reunion, neighborhood block party, etc. We’re flexible and we’re ready to celebrate!”
The photos turned out fantastic. I’m so proud of the work we were able to do together.
